1. BONPOT is a heat-resistant, high-temperature baked vitrified stoneware, made in France.
  • Safe to use on an open flame, in an oven, or in a microwave. The BONPOT cannot be used on an induction heat cooking surface.
  • BONPOT has great heat-retaining properties. Excellent for all types of cooking, such as steaming, broiling, stewing and brasing.
    It is also great when your cooking calls for multiple cooking methods!
  • BONPOT is especially useful when creating meat and fish dishes that requires browning on the surface and retaining juice and moisture inside. It is also a fantastic rice cooker.
  • Much less water-absorbent than a conventional earthen pot, the BONPOT does not stay with strong residual smell after use and quickly dries after washing.

2. BONPOT can be used as a shallow and deep pot,
as well as a earthen pot, ceramic cooking pan and tajine.

3. Beautiful, colorful tableware
  • In order to endow the BONPOT with a sense of warmth, we used unique, beautiful and durable French glaze to create three color variations: charcoal grey, fig, and olive.
  • The high-quality glaze used gives each BONPOT a glossy finish that is easy to care for. The BONPOT is completely dishwasher safe, and even the most stubborn stains or burnts can be removed easily and safely from its surface using vinegar or/and baking soda.
4. The overall heat and convection currents created by each dot on top and bottom
while cooking in the BONPOT, draw out the full flavors of each ingredient.
  • The condensation collected from the dots on top falls back to the bottom which ensures moist and juicy food.
  • The dots on the bottom elevate ingredients slightly, allowing excess fat from meats to drip into the very bottom, resulting in crisper, healthier meals.
  • The soft curve on the interior of the BONPOT lets warm air and heat to disperse slowly and thoroughly, transferring heat efficiently to the food. This is what makes the BONPOT excellent for cooking rice as well.
