palmhouse GLASS/fleur palmhouse GLASS/fleur An avid wine lover has spent four years to create this wine glass. It is a culmination of passion and dedication offered by many people who share the same value, like a fruit dropping on the ground, driven by various dreams.

Wine is primarily a nice accompaniment for my meal as I want to enjoy my active everyday life with healthy meals. I want to enjoy wine every day as a subtle and discrete addition to my life. It is like taking a deep breath.

Good wine brings about multi-faceted charm and pleasure for us as follows.
1. Exceptionally beautiful colors created by nature.
2. Natural odors bringing back various memories.
3. Sweet and tart flavor lingering around.
4. Mild intoxication making us more tolerant.
5. Nature and history of wine-producing land.
6. Producers’ passion and hard work disseminating a message for drinkers.
7. Helps us feel more appreciative of those things around us.
8. Hard but warm touch embodied in a genuine quality cristal.
9. Makes each meal tasty and enjoyable.

We started the development of this glass with the desires and objectives to create:
- A glass that exquisitely enhances the possibilities of wine
- A comfortable glass to make you feel you are caressing wine with your hand
- Glasses that can be nestled into each other for compact storage, making each glass and the nestled glasses look beautiful
- A sturdy high-quality glass with thinness creating the sensitivity of holding fluid with your hand

What has made these qualities possible are the passion, expertise, and commitment shown by the sommelier Kenichi Nirei for wine, and the incessant tolerance to “beauty with practical usefulness” held by the designer, Sotaro Miyagi.

As many people say that simpler objects require more elaborate talent and techniques for manufacturing, it was rather difficult for us to find a manufacturer who can handle a design requiring such high accuracy. It was lucky of us to be able to gain the understanding and sympathy from young Czech managers who have succeeded and advanced a long history dating back to their foundation of 215 years ago and their great techniques.
With all of my appreciation,
